CAST22 Terms & Conditions

The following outlines the CAST22 payment options, cancellation and refund policy, registrant substitution details, and more.

Payment Options

Teacher Appreciation Pre-Sale (Through June 15): All attendees must register online and pay directly via credit card.

Early Bird, Regular, and On-Site Registration: All attendees must register and pay directly via credit card or by providing a school district purchase order (PO) and payment by check.

If using a PO number to complete online registration, please mail all checks to:

Full names of all attendees or their confirmation numbers must be included with the check. Please note that it can take up to 1 week from your check’s arrival for your payment to be processed. Attendees can also pay their balance by check the day of the conference during registration.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

STAT CANCELLATION POLICY:

Cancellation/Refund Deadline: October 17, 2022. Cancellation requests for conference registration will be accepted until October 17, 2022, but are subject to a $25 administrative fee. Contact  for information. Cancellation requests must be made in writing and received by email at stat@statweb.org or postmarked by October 17, 2022, and mailed to: Science Teachers Association of Texas or STAT, 3305 Steck Avenue, Suite 200, Austin, TX 78757.

Refunds of $25 or less will not be processed. A $25 fee will also be charged for insufficient fund checks and disputing valid credit card charges. Registrants who do not pay their balance may not be eligible to attend future CAST conferences. Please know that your registration is a “reservation” to attend CAST22; therefore, unless you cancel by the deadline, you are responsible for full payment of your registration, regardless of your attendance at the conference. 

Additional Cancellation Options:

  • If registering at the nonmember rate and canceling for any reason, you may choose to apply $30 to cover STAT membership. 

Changing or Substituting a Registration

You may substitute another attendee from the same district/organization for your registration at no charge by logging in to the Attendee Service Center. There, you may change the name and update the necessary contact information. All registration transfers must be completed before October 31, 2022, as substitutions will not be allowed during the event.
