Yes. Purchase orders are now required to pay by check. Credit card payments are also accepted.

Please make sure to include a copy of your confirmation receipt, purchase order number, and the names of attendees along with your check. Please note that it can take up to 1 week from your check’s arrival for your payment to be processed. Attendees can also pay their balance by check the day of the conference during registration.

You should have received an email confirmation when you registered for the conference. If you did not receive an email confirmation, please contact stat@statweb.org.

Review the CAST Terms & Conditions for the full cancellation policy. Cancellation requests for conference registration will be accepted until October 17, 2022, but are subject to a $25 administrative fee. Contact stat@statweb.org for information. Cancellation requests must be made in writing and received by email at stat@statweb.org or postmarked by October 17, 2022, and mailed to: Science Teachers Association of Texas or STAT, 3305 Steck Avenue, Suite 200, Austin, TX 78757.

Refunds of $25 or less will not be processed. A $25 fee will also be charged for insufficient fund checks and disputing valid credit card charges. Registrants who do not pay their balance may not be eligible to attend future CAST conferences. Please know that your registration is a “reservation” to attend CAST22; therefore, unless you cancel by the deadline, you are responsible for full payment of your registration, regardless of your attendance at the conference. 

STAT is not formally issuing COVID-19 guidelines at CAST22. However, STAT acknowledges that there is inherent risk for any in-person gathering. In consideration of each other, CAST will be a mask-positive conference, and STAT encourages attendees to make decisions based on their comfort level and needs. 

You may substitute another attendee for your registration at no charge by logging into the Attendee Service Center. There, you may change your name and update the necessary contact information.

Please note that all registration transfers must be completed before October 31, 2022, as substitutions will not be allowed during the event.

STAT is a TEA-approved CPE provider, and sessions at CAST22 qualify for up to 15 professional development credit hours. CAST22 Continuing Education Credit/PD Form here.

Registrations are accepted up until the last day of the conference.

Yes. Everyone, including presenters and volunteers, must register and pay the applicable registration fees.

You'll access session handouts and resources through the CAST22 mobile app. You'll receive information about accessing the CAST22 mobile app closer to the conference.

CAST22 will be held at the Hilton Anatole, located at 2201 N. Stemmons Freeway, Dallas, Texas, 75207. You can find more information about the location and hotel block here. 

Yes, but STAT recommends registering in advance to secure your registration materials and payment.
