Yes. Purchase orders are now required to pay by check. Credit card payments are also accepted.

We will accept paid registrations up until the last day of the conference, based on the fee schedule detailed here.

Yes, but we recommend registering in advance to secure your registration materials and payment.

Review the CAST21 Terms & Conditions for the full cancellation policy. Cancellation requests for conference registration will be accepted until October 29, 2021. After this date, registration fees are typically nonrefundable. Attendee cancellation and refund requests must be in writing and received by email at stat@statweb.org or postmarked by October 29, 2021, and mailed to: Science Teachers Association of Texas or STAT, 3305 Steck Avenue, Suite 200, Austin, TX 78757. A $25 fee will also be charged for insufficient fund checks and disputing valid credit card charges.

Registrants who do not pay their balance may not be eligible to attend future CAST conferences. Please know that your registration is a “reservation” to attend CAST21; therefore, you are responsible for a full payment of your registration, regardless of your attendance at the conference.

You may substitute another attendee for your registration at no charge by logging into the Attendee Service Center. There, you may change your name and update the necessary contact information.

Please note that all registration transfers must be completed before October 29, 2021, as substitutions will not be allowed during the event.

Yes. Everyone, including presenters and volunteers, must register and pay the applicable registration fees.

STAT is a TEA-approved CPE provider, and sessions at CAST21 qualify for professional development credit hours.

No. All CAST21 sessions—whether workshops or extended sessions—are first-come, first-served on-site.
