Each year, more than 5,000 educators and science advocates gather for the Conference for the Advancement of Science Teaching, aka CAST, one of the nation's premier science education conferences. Presented by the Science Teachers Association of Texas, this three-day conference of all things science includes hundreds of breakout sessions presented by educators who generously share innovative classroom strategies. CAST attendees come from each of science's varied disciplines, but they are united by their passion for inspiring students to discover the world through science. Watch the CAST 2018 recap video to see CAST in action.
