2018 Conference for the Advancement of Science Teaching
Each year, more than 6,000 educators and science advocates gather for the Conference for the Advancement of Science Teaching, aka CAST, one of the nation’s premier science education conferences. Presented by the Science Teachers Association of Texas, this three-day festival of all things science includes hundreds of breakout sessions presented by educators who generously share innovative classroom strategies. CAST attendees come from each of science's varied disciplines, but they are united by their passion for introducing students of all ages to the phenomenal world of science.
Registration and housing will open in late summer. In the meantime, explore our agenda, and consider submitting a proposal for a presentation. What makes CAST possible is the willingness of educators like you to share your best ideas!
