The Hop Fastpass Trimet card can be used on all Portland public transportation during October 26th-29th and will be at the Travel Portland table next to registration!

On a visit to Portland, do as locals do and take advantage of the city’s efficient public transportation. The Oregon Convention Center is just eight (8) miles from the Portland International Airport (PDX).

Portland’s TriMet MAX light rail stops 300 times a day in front of the Convention Center, connecting riders to downtown, surrounding neighborhoods, the Oregon Zoo, and Portland International Airport. Portland Streetcar’s Central Loop stops at the Convention Center MLK Lobby entrance every 15 minutes.
TriMet’s Bus Line No. 6 also stops at the MLK Lobby entrance and provides access to downtown stops and outlying areas.
MAX has five lines, all of which run through downtown Portland. TriMet offers a downloadable MAX system map with a full list of stops on its website, but as a general rule, each of the five lines spread from the city center to cover a different section of the city:
The TriMet bus system covers the city and suburbs thoroughly, in addition to offering low fares, friendly and helpful drivers and full wheelchair accessibility. Most also have bike racks, making it easy to switch from two wheels to four.

It’s easier than ever to get around Portland like a local, thanks to the city’s new bike-share program, Biketown. Underwritten by local sports giant Nike, Biketown offers bright orange-colored bikes, complete with baskets, at “hubs” throughout the city.

Meeting and convention attendees never have to worry about renting a car in Portland, thanks to the city’s abundance of car-sharing and ride-sharing services. Call up a Lyft or Uber ride on your smartphone or choose from car-sharing services like Zipcar, Turo, or Getaround.
