Health and Safety

Your Safety is Our Priority

SACNAS is committed to protecting the health and safety of all participants. As ongoing health emergencies and the spread of communicable diseases, including but not limited to COVID-19, permeate our lives, SACNAS continues to align itself with the requirements set forth by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC); national, state, and local public health agencies; and the venues hosting SACNAS events.

COVID-19 Vaccinations

We ask that all event participants (attendees, exhibitors, vendors, and speakers) be fully vaccinated and boosted by the event start date (CDC Vaccination Guidance). Our greatest concern is the health and safety of our staff, conference participants, and attendees. Please take personal responsibility for your health and safety and in turn, protect the health and safety of others around you.

Face Coverings

Masks are encouraged at all NDiSTEM events. (CDC Mask Information)

Health and Safety Signage

Signage will be placed throughout the venue to remind all participants to frequently wash and sanitize their hands and to follow recommended face covering practices.

Screening Event

Participants are strongly encouraged to participate in daily self-screening before attending a SACNAS event. We ask that you not enter the Convention Center or any NDiSTEM event if you are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms or have had close contact with a person who has COVID-19:

· Feeling feverish or having a temperature of 100°F or higher

· Cough

· Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing

· Chills or repeated shaking with chills

· Muscle pain or body aches

· New loss of taste or smell

· Headache

· Sore throat

· Fatigue
