Medically Challenging Case

  • This submission category pertains to cases that are unusual, novel, or illustrate innovative perioperative management.
  • The primary author must be a resident, fellow or medical student.
  • Submission must include faculty mentor and program director names and emails.
  • One learning objective (max. word count = 30), case description (max. word count = 150), and discussion (max. word count = 200) are required for submission.
  • Do not include the institution in the abstract body or title.
  • Include maximum of three (3) references.
  • Please enter all information in upper/lower case.
27th Annual Frost-Gevirtz Bragging Contest 
The Bragging Contest highlights the most educational and compelling cases from across New York State presented by Residents or Fellows.
  • The submitter must be from a New York State institution.
  • The Resident/Fellow speaker must be available on Saturday, December 12 for podium presentation and must be a current ASA/NYSSA member.
