Attendee FAQ

The VETS23 Conference will be held on Monday, May 22, 2023 through Thursday, May 25, 2023.


ALL VETS23 events will be held in Orlando, FL which is in the Eastern Time Zone.


The dress code is business casual.

No. While families are more than welcome at the hotel property, we kindly ask that all individuals onsite during VETS23 Conference events are eighteen (18) years of age or older. There are no exceptions to this policy.


The VETS23 Conference will not have any Guest/Spouse registrations or offerings.


Registration pricing can be found on the Registration Information Page.


  • Full Conference Registration includes all General and Breakout Sessions, Networking Appointments, access to the Exhibit Hall (during show hours), and Networking Receptions.
  • One Day Registration includes all General and Breakout Sessions and Networking Appointments on that day, breakfast and lunch on that day, and access to the Exhibit Hall (during show hours) for that day.


Conference attendance/participation is limited to registered attendees who received an email confirmation and have a confirmation number for their registration.


Registration will open Mid-Janurary 2023 for NVSBC member organizations. General registration will open Mid-February 2023. Visit the Registration Information Page for information.


The Early Bird discount offers half off registration and is open until March 17, 2023.

Reservations must be made through VETS23 Conference Housing in order to receive the NVSBC rates and to be in NVSBC's hotel block.

Please familiarize yourself with the hotel policies at the time reservation. NVSBC cannot be held responsible for room cancellation policies, check-in/check-out times, additional fees, etc.

If you have made a reservation at the hotel prior to the group block being set up, please call the hotel to have your reservation moved into the group block. Otherwise, the hotel will charge you extra for a Resort Fee.

Reservations within the group block must be made by
April 30th.

While other companies may contact you about hotel reservations, they are not endorsed by The VETS23 Conference. For your protection, please exercise caution when making hotel arrangements.

Please visit the Sessions Page (coming soon!) of the VETS23 Conference website. You can see the details of the sessions, including the title, description, and Speaker(s) participating in each. You can view these All or select a specific day. You can also search by title, speaker, or track by clicking on "Search/Filter" at the top of the page.


The event is being held in-person only at the DoubleTree by Hilton Head at SeaWorld in Orlando, FL. There will not be recordings available.


Matched Networking appointments are one-on-one meetings between any two VETS23 Conference attendees (government agency representative, small or large business representative, or a VETS23 Conference speaker). Group meetings can also be arranged. Beginning on April 3, 2023 NVSBC members organizations can access and complete the matched networking profile and request appointments through the Attendee Service Center (ASC). General availability will open to non-members on April 17, 2023. Appointments are on a first-come, first-served basis. Each attendee is responsible for their own schedule.

Matched Networking Appointments will be conducted onsite on:

  • Tuesday, 5/23 7:30AM – 5:30PM
  • Wednesday, 5/24 7:30AM – 5:30PM
  • Thursday, 5/25 7:30AM – 11:30AM


No, you do not need to be a member of NVSBC to attend The VETS23 Conference. However, attendees who are employees of NVSBC member organizations do receive many benefits including early registration access and early access to Match Networking Appointments with government and other attendees.

The option to become an NVSBC member organization is available through theRegistration process. If you have questions about NVSBC member types, you can visit our
website.

Online registration will stay open until the end of the conference until we reach capacity at which point we will close registration.


All exhibitors attending The VETS23 Conference must be registered using the Booth Staff Registration Form which can be found in the Exhibitor Service Center.

No one is automatically registered to attend the conference. ALL EXHIBITING COMPANY STAFF ATTENDING THE VETS23 CONFERENCE MUST BE REGISTERED ONLINE.


Each Booth comes with (2) Complimentary Exhibitor Full Conference registrations. Those receiving the complimentary registrations must register through the Booth Staff Registration Form which can be found in the Exhibitor Service Center.

Once the two free registrations have been used, any additional registrations come with a fee. Please check the Registration Information Page for pricing.


If your booth is not paid in full and approved by NVSBC, you will not see your company in the drop-down list. Keep in mind that this process is not instantaneous. Our staff makes every effort to check payments daily and approve paid companies as quickly as possible.

We accept credit cards (Visa, American Express, Mastercard), ACH, and check payments.

Yes. You can pay for your registration with multiple credit cards.

When you get to the "Review" page on the registration form you will see a credit card icon. Click on the icon then assign each registration item to the payment method number using the radio buttons. Click continue to go to the "Payment" page. This is where you will enter your credit card information.


To retrieve your registration invoice/receipt, please login to the Attendee Service Center. Your login information is located in your confirmation email.


Cancelations will be accepted through COB (5:00 pm EDT) on April 24, 2023, and must be received in writing, to vets23@nvsbc.org. Registration fees will be refunded in full minus a handling and processing charge of $100.00 for individual registration. If you are a government employee or your registration fee is $0.00, you will not be charged a cancelation fee if you cancel. NVSBC regrets that refunds cannot be issued after April 24, 2023. You may transfer your registration to a colleague if circumstances prevent you from attending the event.

The cancelation fee and deadline do not apply to government registrations. Please send cancelations to vets23@nvsbc.org.


To transfer your registration to someone else in your company, please login to the Attendee Service Center and select ASC-Registration Edit on the left navigation. Select the Attendee Substitution button which will take you to the registration form. From there you can register the person who will be substituting in as you for the conference. Please reach out to vets23@nvsbc.org if you have any issues.


A Pre-Conference Attendee List will be posted in the Attendee Service Center (ASC) on April 3rd, 2023 and a final list will be posted within one week after the end of the conference. Your login to the ASC can be found in your registration confirmation letter. Access to the ASC and the Attendee List is limited to registrants only.


  • Participant contact information will be part of a database only accessible to NVSBC.
  • Participant contact information will be published in a list of conference attendees. During your online registration process, you received the option to opt-out of the public list.
  • Participant contact information will be used to circulate announcements of future VETS23 Conference events.
  • None of the agencies/companies associated with the Conference coordination accept responsibility for damage to or loss of an attendee's personal property.


Taking photographs or using video equipment other than for personal use at The VETS23 Conference is prohibited and violators will be removed from the premises. Only the official photographer will be authorized to take photographs.

The organizers reserve the right to use any videos recorded at The VETS23 Conference for public viewing on the conference website.

The organizers reserve the right to use any photos taken at The VETS23 Conference for use in conference materials, appearing in either printed documents or in related websites.
