Important Booking Information
  • Do make sure to make your reservation through the Passkey to get the special STEM Forum hotel rates. Making reservations through the hotel directly, or through a central hotel reservation number, will not guarantee that you receive the NSTA discounted rates.
  • Do make your hotel reservation as soon as possible. Reservations are made on a first-come, first-served basis. For best availability, make your reservation online.
  • Do not fax your Housing Request Form to NSTA. In particular, some people have sent a Housing Request Form along with their conference registration. This will delay the processing of your hotel reservation.
The hotel does not accept Purchase Orders for deposits or payment of hotel rooms.
If it is necessary that you cancel your reservation, do so as soon as possible to avoid penalty.

Be Green and Save Money! BART Advance Purchase Voucher

BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) offers a quick, easy, inexpensive, and green way to get from San Francisco International Airport (SFO) to the NSTA hotels and the Moscone Center West (Powell Street station). Trains depart from SFO 3-4 times per hour for the ½ hour ride to San Francisco.

Get a BART roundtrip voucher for $21 and you’ll save substantially over the cost of a shuttle or taxi. Advance purchase is required and it’s easy to get. Just Click here to purchase your BART ticket voucher. After making your online reservation, just print the voucher, take it with you, and exchange it for a BART ticket at the SFO voucher/information desk (see directions below, or on your printed voucher). It’s that easy.

The BART station and the Voucher Exchange desk are located in the SFO International Terminal-G. To get there, take the SFO AirTrain Blue Line from terminals 1, 2, or 3 to the Terminal-G stop. Exit the AirTrain, turn right, and go down the escalator to the Voucher BART Exchange/Information desk at the bottom of the escalator.

Passengers arriving at the International terminal should turn right upon leaving customs and follow the signs to the escalator up to the departure level. Follow the sign at the top of the escalator to the Voucher Exchange/Information Desk to pick up your ticket before you go to the station. The BART station entrance is just beyond the Information Desk.

FACT: Taking BART keeps 22 lbs. of emission per passenger out of the air.
