Important Booking Information

Do make sure to make your reservation through the Passkey to get the special conference hotel rates. Making reservations through the hotel directly, or through a central hotel reservation number, will not guarantee that you receive the NSTA discounted rates.

Do make your hotel reservation as soon as possible. Reservations are made on a first-come, first-served basis. For best availability, make your reservation online.

Do not fax your Housing Request Form to NSTA. In particular, some people have sent a Housing Request Form along with their conference registration. This will delay the processing of your hotel reservation.

The hotels do not accept Purchase Orders for deposits or payment of hotel rooms.

If it is necessary that you cancel your reservation, do so as soon as possible to avoid penalty.

Seattle Tacoma International Airport (SEA) is just 15 miles from downtown Seattle. Sound Transit's Link light rail makes trips from Sea-Tac Airport to downtown Seattle. Trains arrive every 6 to 15 minutes, depending on the time of day, and take about 40 minutes to travel between Sea-Tac International Airport and Westlake Station in downtown Seattle, located at 4th Avenue and Pine Street, a half-mile walk from the Washington State Convention Center.  One-way fare for adults ranges from $2.25 to $3.25. Schedules and station maps are available on the Sound Transit website. The SeaTac / Airport Station is connected to the fourth floor of the airport parking garage. Trains arrive and depart on the platform level of the station. The covered, level walkway to the airport terminal is one level down on the mezzanine. The well-lit walkway is separated from the main area of the garage and directional signs point the way to the main terminal skybridge.

One-way taxi rides between the airport and downtown range from $40 to $55.

SuperShuttle is offering 10% off of airport rides at all eligible SuperShuttle airport locations nationwide. To receive the NSTA discount, click here (discount code is JMGSK). For a complete list of airports served, visit http://www.supershuttle.com/locations.

Getting Around Town

The Seattle Streetcar, the South Lake Union Line, has a stop located at Westlake Avenue and Olive Way, roughly a half-mile walk from the Washington State Convention Center. The line connects the fast-growing South Lake Union neighborhood to Seattle's vibrant downtown core, consisting of 1.3 miles, seven stops, and full of shops and restaurants as well as Lake Union's 12-acre waterfront park. The South Lake Union line also conveniently connects to other public transit systems such as Link light rail, Monorail, and Metro Transit.

Seattle Center Monorail is the nation's first full-scale commercial monorail system and a beloved Seattle landmark. The Monorail provides a fun, quick, and convenient link between downtown Seattle and Seattle Center, home to the Space Needle, Pacific Science Center, Museum of Pop Culture, The Children's Museum, and a host of theatrical and cultural experiences.

Two parking garages are operated by the Washington State Convention Center: the WSCC Main Garage (on 8th Avenue, between Pike and Seneca Streets) and the Freeway Park Garage (on Hubbell Place, between Pike and Seneca Streets). The WSCC Main Garage offers electric vehicle parking, as well as bicycle parking. For rates and directions, visit www.wscc.com/directions. For a parking map, click here.
