Using
science phenomena to pique students’ curiosity and sense of wonder is an important
part of being an effective science teacher. Engaging students in making sense of phenomena is a
powerful way to support students in becoming curious about the world. Curiosity
can lead to increased student interest in science, development of students’ identity with
science, and science careers. This session will focus on how teachers
can use science phenomena to engage students in three-dimensional science
performances for learning science. |
