2020 STD Prevention Conference
Dear Colleagues:
We are pleased to invite you to attend the 2020 STD Prevention Conference to be held virtually from September 14-24.
The STD Prevention Conference occurs every two years, and the 2020 Conference will be organized by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the National Coalition of STD Directors. We are working hard to put together a scientific program that is sure to enlighten, challenge, and inspire participants while addressing a range of topics around our conference theme, “2020 Vision: Disrupting Epidemics and Dismantling Disparities.”
This conference comes at an exciting and challenging time as we encounter unprecedented rates of STDs and technological advancements that continue to transform social networks, our health care delivery system, and STD prevention practices. The 2020 STD Prevention Conference will provide us an opportunity to examine our work in the context of these changes and identify new approaches to confront the varied syndemics each of us face from STDs and HIV to substance use.
We look forward to celebrating the progress we’ve achieved in STD control and prevention so far, while fostering new ideas and insights for the future. We hope you will join us this September!
