Submission Instructions

  • Start Submission: Click the Submit button below.
  • Log in with your NASS username (email) and password. New users can create an account on the login page.
  • All co-authors must have up-to-date disclosures. Update disclosures here.

Required Information

  • Title
  • Category: Choose from options like Basic Science, Biomechanics, Surgery, etc.
  • Keywords: Up to 3 keywords.
  • FDA Device/Drug Status: Include FDA status if applicable.
  • Prior/Future Presentation: Note if presented or accepted for publication within 12 months.
  • Abstract Entry: Limit of 3,500 characters (including spaces).
  • Authors: Ensure all authors have unique records and up-to-date disclosures.

General Policies

  • All authors must submit disclosures within a year of the deadline.
  • Ensure funding for travel and registration fees before submitting.
  • Adhere to the AMA Code of Medical Ethics.
  • Medical device companies cannot submit abstracts on behalf of authors.
  • Presentations must not promote products or services; use generic names where possible.
