NASS Policy Statement

Once an abstract has been accepted for presentation, it cannot be withdrawn. If an accepted abstract is not presented, I understand I will be prohibited from submitting any presentations to NASS for two years. I am responsible for registering for and attending the Annual Meeting at my own expense.

I understand that once the submission deadline has passed, no change of any kind may be made to the author list. This includes adding, removing, or reordering authors, as well as modifying author information. By submitting this abstract, I acknowledge and agree that the author list entered at the time of submission is final.

It is the responsibility of the submitter and/or presenting author to communicate the final author list, author order, and all submission requirements to co-authors. NASS will not contact co-authors regarding authorship changes or disputes.

The submitter is responsible for providing accurate contact information and determining which individuals should receive NASS-related emails. NASS is not responsible for missed communications caused by incorrect or incomplete information.

Abstracts may not be submitted on behalf of medical device companies. I confirm this submission is not being made at the request of any such company. Violations may jeopardize NASS’ ACCME accreditation and lead to disciplinary action.

I have reviewed NASS’ disclosure policy, available here, and agree to comply. Failure to provide accurate or timely disclosures may result in disciplinary action.

All selection decisions are made at the sole discretion of the Annual Meeting Program Committee and its Chairperson.

I warrant that the submitted abstract and related materials are original, do not infringe on any rights, and are not defamatory.

If accepted, I understand NASS may use the abstract and related presentation materials for educational purposes in any format. I confirm I hold all rights to assign copyright and assign all such rights to NASS upon acceptance.

If submitting on behalf of co-authors, I confirm I have authority to assign copyright and enter this agreement on their behalf. I agree to indemnify NASS against claims arising from inaccurate representations made for co-authors.
