Abstract Requirements
Before submitting, ensure you have the following information ready:
- Title: A concise and informative title that reflects your research.
- Category: Select the most appropriate category for your abstract (see list below).
- FDA Device/Drug Status: Indicate the status of any device or drug mentioned in your research.
- Abstract Entry: Prepare a clear and comprehensive abstract (up to 3,500 characters, including spaces).
- Authors: Ensure all authors have up-to-date disclosures submitted. Submit or update your disclosure here.

General Submission Policies
Each author must submit a disclosure under his/her record within one year of the abstract submission deadline, using a unique email address and password. If disclosure is not possible by the deadline, the author should be removed from the abstract. Authors may be added after acceptance, provided the disclosure has been submitted.
Presenting authors of accepted abstracts must register for the meeting and cover their own travel expenses and registration fees. Please ensure that proper funding is secured prior to submission.
NASS reserves the right to withdraw a proposal at any time. Presenters must adhere to the AMA Code of Medical Ethics, Opinion 8.061, “Gifts to Physicians from Industry.” Medical device companies are prohibited from submitting abstracts on behalf of authors.
Violations of NASS’ guidelines and ACCME accreditation will result in disciplinary action. Presenters must not use their presentations to market products or services. Whenever possible, use generic names for products. Product-based names should only be used when necessary.

Once your abstract is ready, follow these steps:

- Log in using your NASS credentials or create a new account if you do not have one.
- Complete the submission form and ensure all co-authors have submitted their disclosures.
By submitting your work, you are committing to attending the meeting in person if your submission is accepted. Please ensure your availability from November 14-16, 2025, as cancelations may affect future submission opportunities.
