Event: 28th Annual National Workers’ Compensation and Disability Conference and Expo
Date: November 6-8, 2019
Location: Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas, NV
The NWCDC is the nation's leading event for professionals looking to expand their knowledge and gain new solutions for improving their organizations’ workers' comp, injury management, disability and return-to-work programs. It is also known as the must-attend, annual meeting place for the industry’s top decision makers.
We are seeking presentations that provide relevant, timely and practical guidance to meet the challenges confronting:
Employer workers’ comp and disability executives/managers
Occupational medical providers
Human Resources Departments
We are looking for presentation proposals that provide innovative and proven solutions for the difficult challenges faced by professionals managing workers’ comp and disability risks for their entities. Proposed topics should be educational and provide identifiable, cost-saving ideas that can be implemented immediately to help injured workers, their employers and other claims payers. We are also interested in topics addressing insurance arrangements.
The promotion or endorsement of particular products or companies is strictly prohibited. All sessions must include specific strategies for attendees.
Eligible speakers include: Senior-level professionals directly involved in managing workers’ comp, safety and disability-management risks. Vendors supplying products targeted to workers’ comp and/or disability professionals are also eligible, but greater consideration will be given to presentations that include employer clients presenting their case study experiences.
Presentation proposals should include no more than 2 speakers unless it is a panel discussion, which should be limited to moderator + 2 panelists.
General Session: A keynote presentation, panel discussion or other highly focused presentation on strategic topics capable of engaging all workers’ comp and disability management professionals. (Duration: 60 minutes)
Breakouts: Sessions covering specific workers’ comp and disability challenges with special consideration for the topics listed above. Breakout sessions can be presented as panel discussions, lectures, or workshops. Presentations must include time for attendees to ask questions. (Duration: 60 / 75 minutes depending on the breakout time slot.)
