NEW for 2022: The Best in Ed Tech to be Recognized by District Administration® and the Future of Education Technology Conference


We have set up a simple application process for ed tech providers to obtain recognition for the most innovative, impactful, and important education technology solutions for the year.

Here’s how the updated FETC Top Ed Tech Products awards program will work:

Education technology solution providers are invited to submit proposals for consideration via our website, fetc.org. The non-refundable entry fee is $99.

From the submissions, the District Administration and FETC teams will short-list 30-40 education technology solutions for an initial round of demonstrations and consideration. After this screening and assessment, up to 20 education technology solutions will be named “Top Ed tech Products of the Year.” All of these products will be recognized in District Administration® magazine and at districtadministration.com.

In addition, the companies with the highest-rated of these education tech solutions (up to six solutions) will be invited to demonstrate their solution live in a speaking event for thousands of potential customers at the 2022 Future of Education Technology Conference & Exposition, set for Jan. 25-28, which will be held in person in Orlando, Florida. These “Top Ed Tech Products” also will be featured in promotional conference materials and will join the exclusive list of education technology companies to be recognized at the event.

These awards are designed to showcase new education tech innovation, with particular emphasis given to how these technology solutions are breaking new ground in the education tech market. Solutions must be generally available by October 2021 and must have been developed or updated within the last year and must be applicable to K-12 education.

Providers selected to continue in the process can expect to be notified of the status of their submission on or about Nov. 15. (Only those providers selected to continue will be notified.) For those selected, District Administration/FETC will request a formal demonstration of 10 minutes maximum, with the majority of that time focused on product demonstration. Provider selections are expected to complete in November 2021.

The $99 entry fee must be paid at submission and is non-refundable.

The submission deadline is Oct. 8 at 11:59pm EST.
