Now in its 39th year, FDR Training is known throughout the federal community as a trusted and respected source for high-quality professional training for federal HR, EEO, diversity, employee/labor relations and ADR practitioners and attorneys. FDR Training 2024 will be held at the Caribe Royale Orlando from August 6 through 9, 2024. We seek proposals that provide training on federal workplace issues with a focus on the tools necessary to limit complaints and grievances before the EEOC, MSPB, FLRA and the courts. Presentations should be educational, informative, and interactive; meet clearly defined learning objectives, which you must include in your proposal; and provide the attendee with at least three useful takeaways. Eligible speakers include senior-level HR, ER and LR professionals, EEO and ADR practitioners in federal agencies, employment/labor attorneys who service the federal government, and recognized subject-matter experts in HR, EEO, ER, LR, and ADR as they apply to the federal workplace. Examples of relevant topics include challenges for the federal workforce in 2024 and beyond, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, the EEO process, EEO best practices, disability compliance management, discipline, whistle blowing, adverse actions, ER and LR best practices, human capital management, prohibited personnel practices, labor and management relations, negotiability, arbitration, hearings, communication, problem-solving, conflict coaching, ADR best practices, leave, absence management, pay and benefits, and legal developments. FDR provides training in accordance with 5 CFR 410.404 Types of sessions: FDR Training offers the following types of sessions: Full-Day Workshop (6 hours) Workshops are offered on the first day of the conference. Workshops offer time for intensive study of a topic and are designed to be interactive. Presenters should include activities and audience participation. Half-Day Workshop (3 hours) Workshops are offered on the first day of the conference. Half-day workshops offer time for intensive study of a topic and are designed to be interactive. Presenters should include activities and audience participation. Breakout Session (90 minutes) Presentations should include time for attendee questions. Limit of two presenters per Breakout Session.
