Poster Information
IPEC-Americas invites the academic and professional communities to submit posters to display at Excipient World Conference & Expo. There’s no better venue to showcase your latest research and discoveries to industry experts, regulators, suppliers and leading pharmaceutical, biologic, veterinary medicine, combination device, and consumer healthcare product manufacturers.
NEW: Academic Poster Award
An award of $500 will be given to the top academic poster as determined by our academic poster presentation judges. An award of $250 each will be given to the 2nd and 3rd place academic posters.

Poster Submission
All abstracts must be submitted through our online form. (Email submissions will not be accepted.)
Suggested Topics
Posters should highlight research and new discoveries in topics relevant to excipient technology and drug application including preliminary results, completed studies, summaries of relevant published research (for which you are the author), and position papers.
Selection Process
The NEW DEADLINE for submitting poster abstracts is April 10, 2024. Submissions will be reviewed by the Excipient World conference planning committee.
Fees
> Academia – no fee
> Nonprofit organizations, government agencies, and exhibitors – $195
> Industry – $325

Display
Your poster should clearly convey your key research findings and value for the audience. To get the attention of the attendees and exhibitors, your poster should also be visually appealing to grab their attention. Be clear, concise and creative.
> The top of each poster must include: research title, author(s), and institution
> The printed poster should not exceed 4’ wide. (Posters will be displayed on horizontally oriented 8’ x 4’ boards provided by Excipient World - each board will display 4 posters; 2 posters will be displayed on each side.)
Assembly and Dismantle
Posters will be prominently displayed in the exhibit hall on May 13 (11 AM - 7 PM) and May 14 (8 AM - 2:30 PM). Poster locations are assigned on a first come, first served basis. You (or your representative) are responsible for printing (should not exceed 4’ wide), assembling and removing your poster at the conclusion of the event.
Poster assembly times are:
> Sunday, May 12, 1 – 5 PM
> Monday, May 13, 8 – 10 AM
Poster dismantle times are:
> Wednesday, May 14, 2:30 – 5:30 PM
Note: Posters that are not picked up by the conclusion of the closing session will be discarded. IPEC-Americas will not be held responsible for any posters left after the conference has ended.
Poster Presenter Information
The poster presentation session will be on May 14, 10:45-11:05 AM. Please arrive at your poster at least 5 minutes in advance. In addition, we encourage presenters to be near their posters during exclusive exhibit hall times. To supplement your poster, you are encouraged to prepare handouts and be ready to answer questions and explain your research in greater detail.
