COME AND SHARE AT THE IM4US 2020 ANNUAL CONFERENCE!

 

Words of Wisdom Chair: Jeffrey Geller, MD, IM4US Board President Emeritus

 

Share your wisdom with this great opportunity for networking and connecting with one another. Help us create a VIRTUAL ROOM filled with amazing short videos and pdf posters that will come alive at various times during this year’s conference!


The Words of Wisdom session will be juried broadly based on how helpful, hopeful, compassionate, and connected they are. SELF Promotion is permitted in context, but PRODUCT promotion is not.

Words of Wisdom
will highlight presentations that focus on clinical and non-clinical aspects of health, help, hope, and connection taking place within a community or on a political level as well as a personal level. This year we have a specific interest in ideas that can help providers and patients that have been struggling due to the pandemic.

Healthy meals... 
Messages of love... 
How to make a quick mask… 
Ideas to reduce loneliness… 
Virtual tips and time savers…
Approaches to trauma…
Taking a beautiful walk...

We welcome submissions at all levels of ability!

 

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

All Words of Wisdom must be submitted by the July 14th, 2020 deadline.
 

Please submit the following:

1) A short (2-minute max) video using a phone camera
2) 1 photo or pdf cover page reflecting your Words of Wisdom theme (this will be displayed as an image/button that attendees will click on to access your Words of Wisdom)
3) A short (200-ish word) paragraph that will be included in the electronic conference program and posted on the conference website

*Please consider the size of a computer screen, as that is how most of these will be displayed! 

 

There is a maximum of one presenter per Words of Wisdom, however several individuals may participate in a submission and any presenter may additionally submit a Traditional Research Poster.
