Be a part of the premier conference for Sterile Processing professionals by presenting an education session at the HSPA 2027 Annual Conference and Expo held in Columbus,OH on
April 25–27, 2027
(with pre-conference events on Saturday, April 24th, 2027). Each year's conference features some of the discipline's most dynamic and knowledgeable speakers.
HSPA is currently seeking presentation proposals for lecture sessions, labs, and interactive workshops. If you would like to share your expertise on a Sterile Processing-related topic, please review the information below and use the form submission process to submit your proposal.
Speaker Information:
Present an educational, non-commercial program.
Submit a brief professional biography (100 words or fewer) and a professional digital headshot/photo for marketing materials (similar to a passport-style photo).
Meet all established deadlines for submission materials and presentation requirements.
If selected as a speaker for the conference (April 25–27, 2027), you will receive complimentary registration for the 2027 conference. Registration includes access to all conference sessions, exhibits, lunches, and the reception. Speakers are responsible for all other expenses, including travel and lodging.
Complimentary 2027 conference registration is limited to 1–2 speakers per presentation. Any additional speakers/co-presenters will be responsible for their own conference registration fees.
If you are selected, you will receive specific details on submission timelines, as well as review and presentation requirements.

Speaker Presentations Due
Session Formats:
All HSPA Conference sessions, one to two (1–2) presenters, 1 or 2 are optimal. Each topic should be developed based on timely content that is relevant to the Sterile Processing (SP) profession and aligns with the latest standards and guidelines.

General session:
Sunday–Tuesday, 60 minutes, up to 2,000 attendees
•
Concurrent session:
Sunday–Tuesday, 60 minutes, up to 750 attendees
•
Mini session:
Sunday–Tuesday, 30 minutes, designed for brief presentations on focused topics
•
Early-bird session:
Monday–Tuesday, 45 minutes, giving attendees an engaging start to their day. Early-bird sessions begin at 7 a.m. and offer a more casual, conversational environment.

Pre-Conference hands-on lab:
Saturday, 50 minutes repeated throughout the day (three sessions for a half-day lab, six for a full day), up to 35 people per rotation

Pre-Conference workshop:
Saturday, 50 minutes repeated throughout the day (three sessions for a half-day workshop, six for a full day), up to 50 people per rotation
