OCP Webinar: Teacher Engagement: Addressing Challenging Behaviors with Respect, Time, and Love
One of the most common issues facing teachers of young children is working with behaviors that are challenging, disruptive, worrisome and confusing. Teachers, and their engagement with children, play a critical role in addressing and preventing these challenges as does access to a natural outdoor classroom. This webinar will take a fresh look at what the behaviors mean, how to prevent them, and how best to help children when they do occur.

Kompan Playgrounds - Booth 526
Robinia Play, Act, Learn
The Robinia Play, Act, & Learn series is KOMPAN’s new approach to sensory ground-based play for
the youngest children. Serving as an ultimate play starter, Robinia Play, Act, & Learn takes children through a sensory and creative world of play with activities to stimulate their cognitive creative and social skills. The series’ high capacity allows for multiple children to play simultaneously.
Children get to explore sounds and
rhythms with drums and music
panels. The chalk board invites
children to practice fine motor skills
by drawing or maybe practice writing
their first letter or word. The stage
encourages role-play and truly helps
children release their imagination.

Kompan Playgrounds - Booth 526
Springers
They called it crazy, but it was anything but mad. The Crazy Hen, a KOMPAN invention, started a playground revolution. Like many great ideas, the springer system is incredibly simple. A single ultra-strong flexible steel coil, securely held in a sunken foundation, has been the inspiration for a universal playground classic. Frequently copied, never bettered.

The child always has control of the spring, but whether it houses a Kangaroo, a Bobcat or a Scooter, it is an adventure, developing independence and a chance to show ‘what I can do.’ It’s not all solo fun, on the Water Lilies, there’s room for three friends, and the challenge of competitive sharing.

From the Crazy Hen in the 1970’s the springer family hasn’t stopped growing, there are now over 30 variations on the common theme, rock and roll fun.
