The Crystal Eagle Award is presented annually to an ASHE member whose contributions have affected the health care facility management profession and made a difference to the Society. Often referred to as “ASHE’s lifetime achievement award,” this award recognizes those who have been instrumental in the creation and optimization of healing environments.

This prominent award recognizes 10 exceptional individuals, one from each ASHE region, for their exemplary leadership skills and their commitment to the field of health care facility management through their local and/or national involvement with ASHE.

Senior (SASHE) and Fellow (FASHE) Recipients
Senior status (SASHE) is granted to active ASHE members demonstrating a commitment to the health care facility management profession and recognizes their contribution to the industry through leadership, education, and publishing. Fellow status (FASHE) is granted to active ASHE members who have achieved Senior status and continue to demonstrate a commitment to the field.

Chapter Awards
Chapters participating in this program are recognized for efforts from the previous year by submitting documentation that meet specific criteria. The criteria is based on affiliation objectives ASHE sets to make its chapters stronger and more viable — which in turn helps the field of health care engineering and facility management. This awards program acknowledges chapter accomplishments and rewards chapters for being full-fledged partners with ASHE in achieving its mission and goals.
