Colonel Yvonne Spencer
Leader/Team Builder/Keynote Speaker/Triathlete

Colonel Yvonne Spencer is the Detachment 6 Commander for the Air Force’s Installation and Mission Support Center which serves as the single intermediate-level headquarters supporting Air-Force-wide installations and expeditionary support activities for 177 Air Force bases. She leads 43 members in providing security, emergency services, communications, engineering, logistics, and financial services for eight bases nationwide with a $55 billion infrastructure supporting 90,000 civilian and military members. Throughout her career, she served in a variety of leadership positions at the installation, major command, headquarters, and Secretariat levels and is a six-time commander of organizations ranging from 300 to 1,300 personnel. Her military deployments include Saudi Arabia (Operation DESERT STORM), Iraq (Operation IRAQI FREEDOM), and Afghanistan (Operation ENDURING FREEDOM).

It is through these leadership experiences, windfalls, and pitfalls that Yvonne has learned that having the right tools when it is time for your voice to be heard makes all the difference.

In her spare time, Yvonne enjoys swimming, cycling, and running and has completed numerous triathlons to include 8 Ironman (2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike and 26.2 run) distance races.

Jeff Rose, Ed.D.

Jeff has worked to establish focused, collaborative, and transparent organizations of learning. He has a proven track record of innovation and an unrelenting focus on student achievement. Jeff joined Fulton County Schools as the Superintendent in June 2016, responsible for the leadership, administration, and management of approximately 96,700 students, 105 schools, 14,000 employees, and a $1.1 billion general fund budget. He served for five years as Superintendent of Beaverton School District, Oregon’s third-largest school system. In addition, Jeff was the Superintendent of Canby School District, also in Oregon. During his 23 years in education, he has served as a classroom teacher, principal, and a director of school improvement. 


Shirley Davis, Ph.D.

Shirley Davis is an accomplished corporate executive, global workforce management expert, a certified leadership coach, and a master of reinvention. She works with leaders at all levels and has worked in more than 30 countries on 5 continents and delivers more than 80 speeches a year. She has over 20 years of business experience in a variety of senior and executive leadership roles with Fortune 100 companies and served as the Vice President of Global Diversity and Inclusion and Workplace Strategies for the world’s largest HR membership association, the Society for Human Resource Management. Dr. Davis’ expertise lies in providing solutions and strategies for achieving leadership excellence and in building high-performing and inclusive workplace cultures where all talent can thrive.

Dr. Davis has also been a featured expert on NBC’s The Today Show, the Wall Street Journal, USA Today, CBS News, HR Magazine, Profiles in Diversity Journal, CNN.com, and Inclusion Magazine. She is also a featured author of two popular LinkedIn Learning courses entitled “Leadership Foundations” and “Inclusive Leadership.”

She is the author of, “Reinvent Yourself: Strategies for Achieving Success in Every Area of Your Life,” and “The Seat: How to Get Invited to the Table When You are Over-Performing and Undervalued.”


Devin Hughes

Devin C. Hughes is an author, speaker, consultant, executive coach, and is best known for his expertise in the science of happiness, organizational/cultural change, diversity and inclusion, and leadership development. His approach draws from the science of positive psychology, positive organizational research, appreciative inquiry, neuroscience, mindset, and mindfulness. He works with colleague Shawn Achor implementing The Orange Frog workshop to school districts throughout the world.

Devin’s clients have included some of the world’s most dynamic school districts, companies, and organizations, including Nationwide, Prudential, Marriott, IRS, Secret Service, Intel, and many school associations, colleges, and universities.

Devin is the author of 19 books and has lectured in more than 15 countries. He lives in San Diego, CA with his wife, four daughters, and two rescue dogs.
