ARMA International welcomes you to the ARMA Canada Information Conference 2024. To help you prepare, we’ve put together this quick reference guide so you’re ready for a successful event. What to Pack
Attire is business casual for the conference during the day. Please, no jeans, tee shirts, or flip flops. We do recommend you dress in layers as temperatures in meeting rooms can vary. Social events take place in the evening when the weather cools down, so be sure to bring appropriate clothing options such as a jacket or sweater if going offsite after these events. ARMA sponsored social events are all inside.

Don't forget a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes!

Airport Ground Transportation
Participants are responsible for their own travel arrangements. The Westin Calgary is located approximately 18.7 miles/ 30 minutes from the
Calgary International Airport (YYC).  

There are several ground transportation options:
  • Ride Share:  Uber and Lyft offer services from the Airport. Passengers can meet their ride-share drivers on the Arrivals Level curbside in the designated pickup locations by Doors 3, 12 or 15. 
  • Rental Cars: The Rental Car Centre is located on the Departures Level across the roadway from the Domestic Terminal. It can also be accessed by the elevator lobby across the Arrivals Roadway.
  • Taxis: The taxi and limousine industry is regulated through the City of Calgary's Livery Transport Services (LTS). LTS is mandated to ensure public safety, consumer protection and service quality.
    • LTS is responsible for licensing taxi and limousine drivers, businesses, inspection sites and mechanics. In addition, compliance/enforcement personnel (peace officers) liaise with the industry stakeholders to ensure compliance with the Livery Transport Bylaw and several provincial statutes relative to the taxi limousine industry.
      • Fares are based on meter rates. Under normal driving conditions, the approximate fare to downtown Calgary is between $40 and $45.
      • Airport taxis can accommodate four or five adult passengers. Vans are available to assist customers with excess luggage.
  • Public Transportation: Calgary Transit provides bus service from the airport to various parts of the city. There is no LRT (light rail transit) service currently.
    • Bus stops are in two locations - one at the Domestic Terminal and one at the International Terminal. 
    • To board the bus at the Domestic Terminal: exit Door 7 on the Arrivals Level. Cross the roadway at Door 2 and walk towards Pillar 7. Ticket vending machines that accept debit, credit card or cash are located here.
    • To board the bus from the International Terminal: exit Door 15 on the Arrivals Level. Cross the roadway and stand at Pillar 32. Ticket vending machines that accept debit, credit card or cash are located here. 
    • Alternatively, bus tickets can also be purchased at the 7-Eleven stores on Arrivals near Door 10.

The Westin Calgary offers the following parking options:
  • On-Site Parking: $32 Daily
  • Valet:    Daily: $45 Daily
  • Offsite Parking: Calgary City Centre 0.1 KM

Registration Information
Registration will be in the Central Foyer.  Beginning Saturday, May 11, the Registration Desk will be open for you to check in, print your badge and address any questions you may have regarding your stay during the event.

Conference Badges
All you need is your email address for quick and easy printing of your conference badge.
Your name badge is required for admission to all events. No exceptions.
