The AI Transformation: Understanding Its Impact and How It Affects Our Work Do not miss the opportunity to hear David Chan, Product Lead-Industry at the Alberta Machine Intelligence Institute (Amii), on the mainstage at the ARMA Canada Information Conference. Over the last decade, David has been working in data science and seeing the field evolve and mature in Alberta. Before joining Amii, he helped build and lead a data science team in the not-for-profit tech sector in Alberta. David is a volunteer & co-lead with Data for Good Calgary and active member of the Calgary data community. Alberta has the prestigious distinction of being host to Amii, a stand-alone institute renowned for its research, developing talent, and helping industry adopt AI in business. Amii is one of Canada’s three centres of AI excellence as part of the Pan-Canadian AI Strategy. In this keynote session, David will highlight how recent changes in AI have affected information management applications such as data classification and retrieval and leave you with best practices to consider.
