Let us get you where you need to go -- Take the T!

Take the "T" to the Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport and the Thomas M. Menino Convention Center (formerly the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center), where the conference will be heldMBTA Area Map

If you are arriving from Logan International Airport:

Depart from the doors at baggage claim from any terminal and follow signs to the Silver Line to the MBTA’s SL1 (Silver Line) headed to South Station. SL1 frequency is between 10 and 15 minutes. The SL1 heading to the Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport and the Convention Center from Logan Airport is FREE for all travelers.    

Once you've arrived at the World Trade Center stop, disembark street side @ Congress Street and follow the instructions below:

Walking path: After being dropped off, enter the station (you will not need to go behind the fare gates). Proceed up the two sets of escalators to your left, and follow the signs to “EXIT 2: World Trade Center Avenue”. Go through the exit doors and proceed straight ahead.

Accessible path: After being dropped off streetside @ Congress Street, enter the station (you do not need to go behind the fare gates) and take the elevator immediately to your left up to “EXIT 2: World Trade Center Avenue”. Upon exiting the elevator, turn left to go around the headhouse and proceed straight ahead.

The Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport is ahead on the left (main doors on Summer Street. The Thomas M. Menino Convention Center (MCEC) and the Westin Hotel are straight ahead across Summer Street.       

If you are arriving from South Station (Amtrak):

For attendees arriving by Amtrak or Commuter Rail, follow signs to the Silver Line and take either the SL1 (Logan Airport), SL2 (Design Center), or SL3 (Chelsea) to the World Trade Center stop.

Once you’ve arrived at the World Trade Center Station, disembark and follow the instructions below:

Walking path: Proceed up the escalator and exit through the fare gates. Proceed up two more sets of escalators and follow the signs to “EXIT 2: World Trade Center Avenue”. Go through the exit doors and proceed straight ahead.

Accessible path: Take the elevator up to the lobby and exit through the fare gates. Once in the lobby, take the elevator up to “EXIT 2: World Trade Center Avenue”. Upon exiting the elevator, turn left to go around the station, and proceed straight ahead.

Fare Payment:
After checking in with APTA Registration, head over to the MBTA Host Desk to receive your welcome bag along with a complimentary 1-day Charlie Card (MBTA pass) for you to use on MBTA’s subway, buses, and light rail. MBTA volunteers will be available to answer questions and assist with trip planning.

I addition, the MBTA is improving the way you pay for transit with the introduction of contactless payment on MBTA buses, Green Line and Mattapan trolleys, and all gated subway stations. You can pay the MBTA fares by tapping your contactless debit/credit card, phone, or watch with a mobile wallet—making it easier for you to get going. THE RIDE (Paratransit Service)

Applying for RIDE visitor eligibility

If you have a disability that prevents you from using the MBTA’s bus and subway networks, you can apply for visitor eligibility to use the MBTA’s paratransit service The RIDE. Here’s what you need to do:

  • Contact the Mobility Center by phone at 617-337-2727 (voice/relay) or by email at mtbamobility@mtm-inc.net to let them know you’re interested in applying for visitor eligibility. Staff will help you determine what information they’ll need from you.
  • Provide eligibility information
  • Provide your ADA Paratransit Certificate of Eligibility from your home paratransit service.
  • If you don’t have an ADA Paratransit Certificate of Eligibility, you may be asked to provide:
  • Home address and residence information
  • Where you'll be staying in Boston and local contact information
  • Mobility device used
  • Letter from your health care provider
  • Other supporting documentation of your disability

You’ll be notified of your eligibility determination one business day after all necessary information is received. If found eligible, you will receive a RIDE ID number that you will need to book trips.

Booking trips on The RIDE

Once you have your visitor eligibility/RIDE ID you’re ready to start booking trips.

  • Fund your trip
    • Before you can book a trip on The RIDE, you’ll need to add funds to your RIDE account.
  • You can do that online through The RIDE’s booking portal at www.mmt.mbtatrac.com and they will be immediately available for use. The page includes directions for setting up your online account.
    • You also have the option to add funds by phone, in person, or via mail. For more information on adding funds to your account visit www.MBTA.com/theridefares.
  • Schedule your trips
    • You can schedule your trips online at www.mmt.mbtatrac.com or by calling The RIDE Access Center (TRAC) at 844-427-7433 (TTY: 857-206-6569) one to five days in advance. Trips must be booked by 5 p.m. the day before travel.
    • No matter how you schedule you’ll need:
      • Your name and RIDE ID number
      • The date, day, and time of your travel
      • The addresses where you’re getting picked up and dropped off. Location names, like for a business or venue, are helpful but you will need the full address to book a trip.
      • Information on any mobility devices, service animals, and/or guests who are coming with you.
