The Menino Convention & Exhibition Center is entirely accessible and designed according to ADA requirements and beyond. A limited number of wheelchairs are available free-of-charge through the First Aid Station. Golf carts are also available at most events for rides to locations inside the building. For personal assistance, please contact the Public Safety department at 617-954-2222.
A wheelchair-accessible registration desk will be available at APTA registration areas. You can also ask any staffer for help if needed.
Buffets will be wheelchair-accessible, and APTA and venue staff will be available to those who may require additional assistance at all meal functions. During our meal functions, we offer gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan options. If you have a specific allergy inquiry, please email meeting@apta.com.
The APTA Meetings mobile app is designed with accessibility in mind. All attendees will have full access to the schedule, program details, venue maps, Products & Services Showcase information, show notifications and more. Session handouts and slides will be added as available.
You should be prepared for a significant amount of walking or rolling throughout the day between sessions, so please allow yourself plenty of time to get to each session. Heavy crowds and congested areas could also slow down travel.
APTA offers a quiet room at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center that attendees are welcome to use if they need a break from the excitement. Please see the APTA information/registration desk to reserve time.
All restrooms have an accessible stall if needed. If you need assistance finding a restroom, please ask any staffer where the closest one is.
Omni Hotel - Grass area at the end of World Trade Center Avenue (across from the Seaport Hotel).
Menino Convention & Exhibition Center - Anywhere outdoors that is acceptable and public that the handler can access.
If you need help with anything during the conference, you can ask any APTA staff member for assistance. There will also be wayfinders throughout the convention center, as well as registration staff who are there to assist.
