Accessibility Features

Accessible Registration

A wheelchair-accessible registration desk will be available at the APTA registration area at the hotel. You can also ask any staff member for help if needed.

Accessible Seating

Priority spaces for those in wheelchairs, with limited mobility, with low vision, and/or who are hard of hearing will be available in session rooms.

Closed Captioning

Closed captioning is available at all general sessions, and may be available upon request in education sessions and committee meetings. Should you require closed captioning in an education session or committee meeting, please let the APTA staff in the room know or note it on the registration form.

Meal Functions and Buffets

Buffets will be wheelchair-accessible, and APTA and venue staff will be available to those who may require additional assistance at all meal functions. If you have any allergy or dietary restriction inquiries, please note it on the registration form.

Mobile App

The APTA Meetings mobile app is designed with accessibility in mind. All attendees will have full access to the schedule, program details, venue maps, show notifications and more. Session handouts and slides will be added as available.

Restrooms

All restrooms have an accessible stall if needed. If you need assistance finding a restroom, please ask any staff member where the closest one is.

Session Staging

All session stages will be equipped with a ramp or lift. Should a ramp or lift not be available in specific meeting rooms, the "stage" will be set on the floor without a riser to ensure wheelchair accessibility.
