Behind-the-Scenes Tour of the Transbay Joint Powers Authority’s Multimodal Salesforce Transit Center, HSRA northern terminus
SOLD OUT
On this behind-the-scenes walking tour, we will visit the four levels already open to the public and experience the public art installations that are part of the multimodal Salesforce Transit Center. We will also visit the two-level train box built under the Transit Center, which will ultimately serve Caltrain and California High-Speed Rail's statewide system through The Portal. We will meet in the Marriot Marquis lobby and walk over to the Salesforce Transit Center. The tour will end on the rooftop of Salesforce Park, which is about a 15-minute walk back to the hotel. NOTE: During this tour, we’ll be walking (flat and flights of stairs) within the facility’s four-and-half block footprint facility so please wear comfortable (closed-toe) shoes. Also, we will take escalators and elevators during the tour. The two-level trainbox has active construction going on so we’ll be requiring participants to sign a waiver.
