International Bus Roadeo Registration Information

To participate in the International Bus Roadeo you must be an APTA member transit system, state association member, or CTAA member. Additionally, APTA Bylaws state that an APTA management company membership shall not take the place of the transit system membership. All registrations will be verified for transit system, state association, or CTAA membership and will be subject to cancellation.


Per APTA's 2025 International Bus Roadeo Handbook, each agency may only send one Bus Operator, one Maintenance Team (maximum of three technicians), and up to four Supervisors. Each agency may also send an alternate Bus Operator or Maintenance Technician, but only one Bus Operator and up to three Maintenance Technicians may compete.

Additional Information

All International Bus Roadeo participants must register and receive a badge in order to attend the International Bus Roadeo and Mobility conference events.

Don't have your participant information yet? That's okay! You may register your team now and provide individual participant information once you do. You'll receive detailed instructions in your confirmation email.
*Note: all participants must register by March 10, 2025 in order to receive a badge and participate.

 

International Bus Roadeo Team Participant registrations and Committee Member registrations include:

  • International Bus Roadeo: access to the orientations, trainings, workshops, Swap Meet, Awards Ceremony and International Bus Roadeo Awards After Party
  • Mobility Conference: access to welcome reception, educational sessions, general sessions, Products & Services Showcase, Bus Display, and meal functions

International Bus Roadeo Volunteer registrations:

  • Full Roadeo Participant Volunteer: Non-committee members helping with all roadeo activities (course setup, roadeo day) - includes access to ticketed events
  • Roadeo Only Volunteer: Volunteers assisting with on-site roadeo activities only (no access to ticketed events)


International Bus Roadeo Personal Guest registrations include:

  • Access to Bus Roadeo orientations, trainings, workshops, Swap Meet, Awards Ceremony, Awards After Party, and Mobility welcome reception, Products & Services Showcase, Bus Display, and meal functions



Cancellation and Refund Policy

All cancellations and refund requests must be received by email by March 7Refunds will not be issued for cancellations made after this date. Refunds will be processed 30-45 days after the workshop, and a 20% processing fee will be deducted. You can transfer your registration to another person from the same company/agency without penalty by logging into the Registration Service Center using your credentials that you received in your confirmation email.


Payment

APTA requires payment to be submitted at the time of registration. Registrations will not be valid until the payment is received by APTA. Registrations may be paid by Credit Card or Wire Transfer.
