International Bus Roadeo Schedule

Attend the Maintenance Technicians training to help you become better prepared to participate in the roadeo maintenance events. The training will help increase your maintenance teams' knowledge, skills and abilities. 

8:45 – 9:30    Custom Training Aids Brake Board 
9:30 – 10:15   MCI 
10:15 – 10:30 Break 
10:30 – 11:15 Thermo King HVAC 
11:15 – 12:00  Vapor Door

Each maintenance team will jointly take a written test of 50 questions, that will use the ASE format. The questions are split between general knowledge, engine, HVAC, brakes, electrical and transmission.

Join us for an exciting awards ceremony recognizing the dedication and skill of the best of the best in bus operations, mechanics, and safety and security. These professionals from across the country, keep our communities moving forward safely with precision, professionalism, and pride.

You will have the opportunity to arrange your wares on one 6 foot table alongside other competing agencies and swap your agency goods for other agency goods. Early access to the ballroom is allowed for each agency to set up.  All set up must be completed by 6:00 pm. No one is allowed to remain in the room after 6:00 pm.

Join your colleagues and rival contestants alike for our annual IBR Swap Meet. The Swap Meet is a place where Roadeo memorabilia, transit related pins, hats, shirts, patches, and other items are traded, exchanged, or distributed. Enjoy light hors d’oeuvres and drinks in a reception style setting surrounded by rows and rows of tables with swappable goods. There are no price tags as nothing is for sale, but everything is for swap. If you chose not to set up a table, simply browse what is available and swap as you go.
