Battery Electric Bus Safety: Prevention and Management of Bus Fires through Facility Design and Hazard Analysis
Join us for this important session to discuss Battery Electric (BEB) fires, including prevention and management. One speaker will discuss the importance of facility design, including research that has been conducted with NJ Transit. Another business member will dicuss results of a recent hazard analysis conducted for a transit agency, and how these findings will be incorporated into the agency's SOPs and facility designs. A final speaker will discuss types of batteries used in BEB buses.
