Accessible Seating

Priority spaces for those in wheelchairs, with limited mobility, with low vision and/or who are hard of hearing.

Accessible Registration

A wheelchair-accessible registration desk will be available at the APTA registration area at the JW Marriott Austin.

Closed Captioning

Closed captioning is available at all general sessions, and may be available upon request in education sessions and committee meetings. Should you require closed captioning in an education session or committee meeting, please let the APTA staff in the room know.

Meal Functions and Buffets

Buffets will be wheelchair-accessible, and APTA and venue staff will be available to those who may require additional assistance at all meal functions.

Mobile App

The APTA Meetings mobile app is designed with accessibility in mind. All attendees will have full access to the schedule, program details, venue maps, show notifications and more. Session handouts and slides will be added as available. A limited number of program printouts will be available upon request at the Information Desk.

Quiet & Wellness Rooms

APTA offers a quiet and wellness rooms at the JW Marriott Austin that attendees are welcome to use if they need a break from the excitement. Please see the APTA registration desk to reserve time. 

Session Staging

All session stages will be equipped with a ramp or lift. Should a ramp or lift not be available in specific meeting rooms, the "stage" will be set on the floor without a raiser to ensure wheelchair accessibility.
