Capitol Hill Events

On Tuesday afternoon, APTA strongly encourages members to visit with Senators and Representatives to brief them about the importance of public transit and passenger rail investment to your community and advocate for Congress to fully fund the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act. As you may encounter some restrictions in gaining access to Congressional offices because of the ongoing pandemic, APTA has secured two locations on Capitol Hill for APTA members to take a break in between meetings or, if needed, conduct virtual or in-person meetings with Members of Congress or staff. Light refreshments will be available at both locations. Reserve Space >

Later that evening, we will host a reception on the Hill at 101 Constitution's Roof Terrace. Meet and greet lawmakers and their staffs as we close the conference with a Capitol Hill reception that provides a chance to celebrate the historic victory of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law in a relaxed setting.
