Volunteer Activity

Join us on Tuesday, January 28 from 9-11am for a volunteer activity at the Coachella Valley Horse Rescue! During this volunteer event, you will help with various tasks to spruce up the facilities, including repainting and sealing seating benches, repainting the deck, weeding, and/or racking. 

SunLine will be providing shuttles to and from this event. Shuttles will leave from the hotel lobby at approximately 8:30am and return around 11:45am.
 

Coachella Valley Horse Rescue Mission

CVHR's primary mission is to rescue and rehabilitate horses that have been abused or neglected in order to place them in loving homes. They also offer programs that will enhance the quality of life for children and adults by providing equine-assisted programs. You can read more on their website.
 

Information & Essentials

• Participants must be dressed in long pants and closed-toed, sturdy shoes.
• Please remember that these horses are rescues, so some of them are unapproachable. For your safety and the horse's safety, please do not approach a horse unless told otherwise.
• Volunteers must fill out this form in order to participate. Please print it out and bring it with you on the day of the event.

There are 60 spaces available for this event.

If you have already registered for the meeting, you can add this event to your registration in the Registration Service Center using your login credentials in your confirmation email. Once you are logged in, click "Make your registration edits", "Edit", and then click through the pages to the fees page to add the volunteer event.

If you have not yet registered for the meeting, you can add this event on the registration form along with the meeting registration.
