General Information

Exchange is an annual educational conference held by the Association for the Health Care Environment. The Association for the Health Care Environment (AHE) of the American Hospital Association is the organization of choice for professionals responsible for caring for the patient and resident care environment across all care settings; including hospitals, long term care, continuing care retirement communities and ambulatory care. AHE represents, defines, and advances over 2,300 professionals working to ensure quality outcomes and healthy communities.

  • Rates based on single/double occupancy + taxes/fees

  • Individuals must be registered for the conference to obtain access to AHE's hotel block. Room block information will be provided in your Exchange registration confirmation email.

  •  Government ID must be provided upon check-in to receive the government rate. All hotel reservations must be made by July 01, 2020 to guarantee availability and group rate.

Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Credit

  • CHESPs participating in educational sessions can earn up to 12.5 contact hours towards the three-year requirement of 45 contact hours for certification renewal.

  • Attendees participating in the CHESP Review Session earn an additional 8.0 contact hours.

  • Attendees participating in the CMIP session earn 12 contact hours.

  • Paid content is not eligible for CPE.

United Airlines offers discounts off published fares of 2% - 10% based on the booking class of service. Call your travel professional or United Airlines at 800-426-1122 for reservations. Choose your flight times and access your meeting discounts by inserting ZFZN227273 in the Offer Code box.

Recordings and Photography

This program will be electronically recorded by the AHA. By attendance and/or participation in discussions, registrants agree that the AHA may electronically copy, record, photograph, and distribute registrants' attendance at and involvement in the conference. No individual or entity other than the AHA may electronically record any portion of this program for any purpose without the prior written consent of the AHA.
