How many peers do you know went from being “just an assistant” to being the “boss”? It’s 2023, folks! Gone are the days when entry-level staff is merely expected to serve coffee, type up reports, or answer the phone. The nature of the assistant role, while maintaining its core concept of providing essential support, has evolved well beyond its original conception. Over the years, junior staff members have been increasingly empowered to develop creative ideas, inspire innovations, enact change, and champion noteworthy causes. Team members in non-leadership positions are leaders, too!
