FAQs

EVENT INFO

Why is this event being held at the Chicago Botanic Garden?

The Chicago Botanic Garden was intentionally selected to support the kind of experience Man In is designed to be: immersive, reflective, and different from a traditional conference.

The natural environment creates space for movement, conversation, and pause in ways that a conventional meeting venue cannot. Throughout the day, experiences may take place both indoors and outdoors, allowing participants to engage more fully with each other and with the conversations.

The setting also reinforces a core design principle of Man In: creating an atmosphere that encourages connection, openness, and meaningful reflection, rather than performance or formality.

Who should attend Man In?

Man In is for men who carry responsibility and want to lead with intention—in their work, their relationships, and their communities.

This experience is designed around the leadership and human challenges that are currently showing up most acutely for men, while remaining open and relevant to anyone engaging in that work. This includes leaders at all stages—those early in their careers, mid-career professionals navigating growth, and senior leaders facing complex decisions and increasing pressure.

If you’re looking for space to think, connect, and grow alongside peers who are navigating similar challenges, this experience is designed for you.

Is this event only for men?

Man In is intentionally designed around the leadership and human challenges that are currently showing up most acutely for men, especially those navigating responsibility, pressure, and growth in their professional and personal lives.

At the same time, this is not an exclusive space. Anyone interested in engaging thoughtfully in these leadership and human challenges is welcome to attend.

Our focus is on creating an experience that is meaningful and relevant for the intended audience, while remaining inclusive, accessible, and valuable to a broader community of leaders and allies.
