The Griffin Museum of Science and Industry (MSI), located in Chicago's Hyde Park, is one of the largest science museums in the world. Housed in the historic Palace of Fine Arts from the 1893 World's Columbian Exposition, it first opened in 1933 and was renamed in 2024 to honor philanthropist Kenneth C. Griffin.
MSI is home to iconic exhibits, including a coal mine replica, the WWII U-505 submarine, a Boeing 727, and the Apollo 8 command module. With interactive displays covering everything from space exploration to human biology, the museum offers an immersive journey through science, innovation, and discovery.
