With the fifth year of The Turbulent Twenties about to begin, the association community has a great opportunity to imagine the possibilities of genuine board/staff partnership as a force for shaping a different and better future. Building this kind of partnership must be a purposeful process of intentional learning that focuses attention, unleashes energy, and builds momentum for beneficial dialogue and collaboration. This provocative session will challenge the association community’s orthodox beliefs about board/staff partnership, infuse new thinking, and share partnership next practices that participants can adapt and implement in their associations.
