From Virtual to Reality — Digital Planning and Guided Surgery for the Modern Dental Practice
Juan Arias Romero, DDS
This lecture delves into the realm of digital planning in dentistry, exploring the advancements that technology has brought to the field. The use of digital dentistry within the field of dental surgery and implants is of the utmost importance in the daily practice today. Digital dentistry complements and benefits analog dentistry and it is important to know the limitations and advantages of this technology in order to benefit and make the most of it.

In this lecture, we will learn the advantages of the conical connection system and embark on a journey into the realm of guided implant placement and the use of CONNECT abutments through digital precision.

And finally, we will examine the evolution from V3, C1 and the new MIS LYNX implant, including the use of guided surgery, digital provisionals, emergence profile and coronary lengthening illustrated by cases with high esthetic demands.

Full Arch Conversions Today — The Power of a Digital Ecosystem for an Array of Options
Alexander Bendayan, DDS, CAGS, MBA, MSEd
Let's explore the evolution of implant dentistry, from traditional methods to today's cutting-edge digital advancements. This lecture highlights how digital technologies like CBCT imaging and guided surgery are transforming implant placement and restorative dentistry, making advanced solutions accessible to professionals at all levels.

Gain insights into creating a systematic digital workflow that transitions from conventional to digital planning, enabling more precise implant placement and better visualization of potential limitations. Learn how to address common restorative challenges, including complications from incorrect implant placement, and discover innovative solutions for correcting angulation issues to prevent peri-implantitis and restoration failure. This session will also review a variety of restorative options, from multipe-unit treatments to comprehensive "All-on-X" approaches, all powered by a connected digital ecosystem.

Regenerative Strategies to Enhance Hard and Soft Tissue Stability
Tara L. Aghaloo, DDS, MD, PhD
Dental implants are a successful and predictable treatment option for missing teeth, where most patients and clinicians seek this treatment to replace missing teeth. Favorable implant outcomes depend greatly on adequate bone and soft tissue for restoratively driven implant placement, long-term function, and optimal esthetics. For the practicing clinician, predictability and long-term stability of regenerative techniques is extremely important where we must think and plan for the maintenance of esthetic and functional outcomes. As younger patients are seeking implant therapy, and major defects from previously failed implant treatment are becoming more common, how can we ensure that our reconstructions will last the lifetime of the patient? Following biologic principles to create adequate bone to support implants and considering soft tissue quality and quantity to maintain health around implants are the key to long-term tissue stability.

This session will discuss strategies, techniques, and technologies to enhance bone regeneration and stability, as well as familiarize you with techniques to regenerate deficient alveolar ridges to facilitate long-term hard and soft tissue stability. In addition, you will be updated on advances in hard and soft tissue augmentation to facilitate long-term implant esthetics and function.

A 40-year Evolution of Tissue Maintenance - Implants and Beyond
Michael Norton, BDS, FDS, RCS(Ed)
Very few implants have maintained a commercial dominance whilst evolving over time to meet current trends to deliver consistent improvements in biomechanical, biological and esthetic outcomes. While other implants failed to evolve over the last 40 years, those companies chose instead to introduce entirely new implant systems, many of which lack the core documentation.

This lecture will summarize the story of the Astra Tech Implant System and how a scientifically documented implant system has helped to deliver superlative maintenance of both hard and soft tissues. Join us and diiscuss the history and evidence for conical connection implant-abutment interfaces and their  biological relevance.
