Emerging Leaders Case Presentation Competition: 5 Under 10 - Short Talks From Early Career Clinicians
Early career clinicians are encouraged to submit a case presentation in this implant dentistry clinical case competition. Applicants must be in practice under 10 years and an Active Member of the AO. This program will showcase five short presentations during the 2024 Annual Meeting in Charlotte, NC. Each finalist will present a 9-minute presentation of their case.
These main podium presentations will follow the Surgical Track on Friday afternoon from 5:00 - 5:45 pm.
Judges will identify the "Best in Case" from the competing presenters and the winner will be announced during Saturday's Annual Business Meeting.
The top finalists will receive complimentary registration for the 2025 AO Annual Meeting.
Selected presenters will be notified in mid-January, 2024.
SUBMISSION DEADLINE: Friday, January 5, 2024
Program Criteria:
Five (5) cases will be presented with each applicant permitted nine (9) minutes for their presentation. Submissions must meet the following criteria to be considered for inclusion:
- Applicants must be in practice under 10 years, and an AO member in good standing;
- Must provide a complete case that is surgical, restorative, or a combination of both;
- Each case must be completed and documented by the member submitting the case;
- Must provide a 1-minute video recording that describes the basic essence of the case;
- If selected, the presenter must register for the 2024 Annual Meeting and provide an in-person presentation on Friday, March 8;
- Each applicant must submit a $125 application fee.
